In Roman tradition, the month of June is named after Juno, the Roman counterpart of Hera. Since Hera is Zeus's wife, June has an indirect connection to Zeus through her.

After having gone on a bit of a rabbit hole on it, I did not go deep enough to get a satisfying answer.

Best I was getting was some things about it being Olympics time, or a near-solstice time, but no satisfying answers.

There's probably a better answer out there, though, that hopefully is accurate.

For me with the ANSI, it wound up being more that I made a Zeus ANSI, then tried to figure out what day would fit, and I largely stopped thinking about it once I knew it was June 12th.
