Just recently, I was in a small town about 88km west from me, and the local thrift shop warehouse had LPs for sale at $2 ea. I'd say there was the equivalnet of about 60 milk crates of LPs. Most of them were filed spine out - akin to books on a shelf - and that made looking for something specifice pretty hard. They weren't even sorted in any particular way. I wouldn't get very far looking at them before I would quit browsing.

Grab all those you want and stick them in crate and offer them half the
value so they can just "get rid of it".

make space for more albums I got them in bulk so should really go
through to see if there's anything that might be of value.

Yup. A lot of mine are ex-jukebox and came in bulk in a box with no sleaves at all.

One of my first 45 rpm records was "One Toke Over the Line" ..and I had no idea what a toke was. I was just in grade school.

As a kid I was given a small number, one of them includes Photograph by Ringo Starr. Wonder if that's worth much. I've got some in my collection going back to the 50's.

Yup. A lot of mine are ex-jukebox and came in bulk in a box with no sleaves at all.

"no sleeves" - then probably not much worth at all. And those jukebox machines were not particularly gentle playing thos records. However, a particular printing my have some interest if it had a very limited 1st pressing or something.

And the ones with "picture" sleeves specific to the recording would have the highest value.

There seems to be a lot of discussion material online about the value of 45s.
